NBBJ Corporate Site

Tagged , , , ,

The lovely folks at NBBJ contacted me in an effort to rework their corporate site entirely in Flash. The next thing I knew, I was working alongside two very talented designers, an in-house team of writers, video editors and a database engineer. All in all, it was an extremely inspiring experience. The dynamic URL feature is pretty cool, too.

Papervision Page Turn Demo

I was checking out some Papervision3D stuff a few months back, and I thought it would be fun to adapt Lee Felarca’s page curl effect into something a bit more fleshed out. This demo also makes use of PV3D’s InteractivePlane feature, which allows us to create buttons on the 3D book’s pages. Thanks Lee!

Dan Wheldon: IRL Driver

2005 Indy 500 Champion. Wheldon needed a heavy-hitting site to make sure he was one step ahead of the pack. In collaboration with the team at Wirestone, I contributed in the areas of design, development, animation and audio production to ensure DW would (literally) stand out. Be sure to check out the image gallery section.

The Honda Ski Tour

The party might be over, but The Honda Ski Tour lives on. During the winter of 2006, we kicked off the inaugural event with a trip into a Ski Bum’s cabin- complete with green screen video, a customizable audio playlist and cameos from some of the sport’s finest athletes. Check out the load bar messages if you want to know what the festival was like.

Change Design Microsite

I worked with NBBJ to develop a Flash microsite for their recent book titled “Change Design.” The main focus of the site was to convey the style and imagery of the book itself, while keeping the animated elements to a minimum. Unique style with some great photography. Little, yellow, different.

Nokia Virtual Experience Center

In case you haven’t seen them at the mall, Nokia has established physical kiosks where people can come and experience their products first hand. Pretty cool. Even cooler is that Nokia recruited three of their Experience Center employees to act as on-screen talent for the Flash site. Check it out and play with some phones.
